LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has delivered a detailed written judgment on a petition seeking return of funds deposited as security by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
A three-member full bench headed by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum issued the eight-page verdict, directing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference in the accountability court within a week for formal closure of the case.
The court further ordered that the Accountability Tribunal, Lahore, decide on the referral within a month.
