Three medals for the U.S. team scored the most in cross-country skiing and could land a fourth in the women’s team sprint while Jessie Diggins and Julia Kern have yet to perform. Diggins won a bronze medal in the 10 kilometer freestyle race.
The team sprint was largely dominated by Norwegian athletes. They have won gold medals in this event at the last two Olympics and in 2010 in Vancouver.
