LAHORE:
President Asif Ali Zardari left Lahore for Islamabad on Wednesday, concluding this brief tour of Punjab.
He arrived in Punjab last week over the weekend, landing at Sheikh Zayed Airport in Rahim Yar Khan from where he immediately left for Jamal Din Wali.
During his stay, the President visited Sadiqabad, Vehari and Multan, before arriving in Lahore on Tuesday.
Interestingly, Zardari, during his visits to the above-mentioned areas of South Punjab, not only addressed rallies but also had a question-and-answer session with the local media.
He attacked incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran Khan over his health problems.
