The royal family released a statement after Prince William spoke out about a cause that is also close to the heart of his estranged brother, Prince Harry.
On February 18, Buckingham Palace provided an update on King Charles and Queen Camilla’s joint outing and the royal couple was joined by famous actor Idris Elba.
Alongside the photos, the King’s team shared: “The King and Queen were joined by @IdrisElba at Barking & Dagenham Rush Green Campus.
The college offers a range of technical and vocational training courses to students. Their Majesties met students participating in fashion, plumbing, health and cooking workshops.
“The King and Queen also joined College and @KingsTrust alumnus Sir Idris at the state-of-the-art TV and film studios named in his honour.”
Notably, this message came after the Prince of Wales spoke about mental health issues and the need to normalize discussions on this sensitive topic.
Additionally, William emphasized having more conversations about men’s mental health, which often goes unnoticed.
In October 2025, the Duke of Sussex joined Movember, the world’s leading non-profit for men’s health, to highlight how men often suffer in silence.
