Bryce Harper was involved in one of the best punt brawls in recent memory, and it looks like he wouldn’t mind participating in more.
Harper, of course, charged the mound to go fist-for-fist with relief pitcher Hunter Strickland in 2017, stemming from beef the two had years earlier.
The two-time MVP watched film of the fight on a recent episode of “Bussin’ With The Boys” and gave a wild opinion.

“I think it should happen more often in baseball,” Harper said. “I think it would eliminate guys throwing at each other. It’s like hockey. If you want to go, you want to go.
“It’s just part of the game. Obviously, I don’t want to fight anybody on the baseball field. But there comes a point where it’s like, hey man, you’re getting coached, that’s what it is at that point.”

Harper also said there was “no more bad blood” between him and Strickland.
Harper was suspended four games, while Strickland sat out six times. Hockey fights normally last five major minutes, but additional penalties may occur.

Harper is entering his 15th season in MLB – he is a lifetime .280 hitter with a .905 OPS.
