Amid political speculation triggered by his earlier remarks regarding PTI founder Imran Khan’s alleged refusal to accept a “deal”, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah clarified on Friday that his comments were made in a specific context related to the November 24 protest.
Speaking on a private television show, Sanaullah said his statement was only about the PTI founder’s stand during the protest episode and did not refer to any secret reconciliation or political arrangement.
He said that at the time, Imran Khan was not willing to reverse his stance regarding the protest.
