NYT Strands today (game #722) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #722, are…
- BRIDGE
- BODY
- SLEEVE
- NECK
- DOLL
- ANKLES
- CHAIN
- SPANGRAM: GUITAR
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
The first thing I thought of when I saw the theme “touching a nerve” was, of course, the GUITAR and there it was hiding right in the middle of the painting.
Our research therefore focused on the different parts that make up the instrument from the BODY to the PEGS. By the way, am I being nitpicky (no pun intended) in complaining that PEGS is plural but STRING (is singular) – you won’t get much melody or be able to “hit a string” with just one STRING.
Anyway, I digress. The hardest part of today’s game was finding words that aren’t related to the game.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Sunday, February 22, Game #721)
- FLAME
- PARADE
- FLAG
- ATHLETE
- ANTHEM
- MEDAL
- SPANGRAM: CLOSING CEREMONY
