Taking place approximately 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, Dragon House follows the rise and fall of a powerful family known for their dragons and tendency toward madness.
Co-created by Ryan Condal and George RR Martin, the hit HBO Max series has been renewed for a third installment just days before its second season premieres in June 2024.
While season 1 introduced viewers to the Targaryen family and season 2 saw some dragon battles, Condal admitted during an “Inside the Episode” special after the finale that season 3 would focus on “all-out war.”
“While this season was essentially devoted to the upheavals of an early medieval war, season 3 will clearly be devoted to total war,” he revealed.
When does Dragon House will season 3 be released?
Although the exact date has not yet been announced, Dragon House season 3 will air in June 2026 and is expected to consist of eight episodes.
