Prince Harry shouldn’t get his hopes up too much as King Charles’ team has ruled out any possibility of a father-son meeting during the next major trip.
The monarch is expected to visit the United States to mark America’s 250th birthday, but according to reports he will not include a meeting with the Duke of Sussex in his itinerary.
The crucial trip to the United States will last three days, The Express reported. Engagement in Washington and New York was included in the king’s plan. However, the third location has not yet been revealed.
King Charles’s trip to the United States is structured around a “short, well-organized program focused on the events of America’s semi-fiftieth anniversary.”
Sussex fans may be upset because the monarch will not be traveling to California, where Harry and Meghan reside with Archie and Lilibet.
King Charles’ decision suggests that his priority right now is to strengthen his monarchy and the image of the United Kingdom, particularly after the Andrew-Epstein saga.
It is pertinent to note that Prince Harry and King Charles last met in September 2025 at Clarence House in London. Shortly afterwards, the Duke made a public appeal to make peace with his family.
