Chris Hemsworth has shared the reason for his move from Los Angeles to Australia.
The 42-year-old explained that he was fairly settled in Los Angeles with his wife Elsa Pataky and daughter India and twins Sasha and Tristan, who were born at the time, but were still rather unhappy and not enjoying their time there.
THE Thor The actor revealed: “It was around the time my boys were born and we were kind of settled in LA and we weren’t enjoying it, you know? Like nothing was filming there. We were filming just everywhere else.”
So he decided to move to Australia and for him, it was the best decision for his family.
Hemsworth explained that life in Australia is like a vacation.
He explained: “You know, when you come home from work, you want to go on vacation? Like, coming home for me is like a vacation. We have a big farm, horses, motorcycles and surfing.”
The decision to return to his hometown in Australia was largely influenced by his own upbringing.
THE Crime 101star, while recalling his country childhood, shared: “We lived about 20 minutes from the main suburban areas of Melbourne, in the hills. And the nearest neighbor was a kilometer or two away.”
On the work front, Chris is looking forward to the release of the long-awaited film Avengers: Doomsday, in which he will reprise his MCU Thor role.
