The Bridgerton Chronicles season 4 part 2 (Netflix)
Look on it
The second half of The Bridgerton Chronicles season 4 — read my The Bridgerton Chronicles Season 4 Part 2 ending explanation once you watch it – luckily Sophie’s (Yerin Ha) life is corrected for the better. Benedict (Luke Thompson) finally puts on his big boy boots and throws caution to the wind, fighting for the love society doesn’t want him to have.
As with Volume 1 of the final season of the Netflix series, I think Violet (Ruth Gemmell) has the most interesting storyline, but watch out for Francesca (Hannah Dodd). You’ll swoon for Benophie, but Francesca’s journey in Season 4 Part 2 will tear your heart apart. If you’ve read the books, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. — Jasmine Valentine, entertainment journalist
Paradise season 2 (Hulu/Disney+)
Look on it
I have already expressed my belief that Heaven season 2 is the best series of 2026 so far, but I’ll happily remind you why here. This time, Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) leaves the bunker behind to try to find his ex-wife Teri (Enuka Okuma), and we meet Annie (Shailene Woodley), a medical school dropout turned Graceland tour guide, who has to hide in the King’s mansion for the three years following the Doomsday event.
Frankly, it’s the expansion of the outside world that really makes this series pop. Woodley is heartbreaking as she wears her heart on her sleeve, changing our understanding of apocalyptic impact in the blink of an eye. Don’t rule out Sinatra (Julianne Nicholson), though…I wouldn’t trust her as much as I might throw her away. — Joint venture
The Bluff (Prime Video)
Look on it
Priyanka Chopra and Karl Urban lead the cast of this new Amazon film, also produced by Marvel giants Joe and Anthony Russo. Despite the huge names attached to it, The bluff didn’t receive rave reviews, with critics giving it a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, it contains all the ingredients of a good swashbuckler. It follows a former pirate who must protect her family when her past catches up with her. The action also takes place in the 19th century, and there are some excellent costumes, naturally, so it might be worth heading to Prime Video this weekend to get your action fix if it ticks all the right boxes. — Lucy Buglas, senior entertainment reporter
The Revival of Scrubs (Hulu/Disney+)
Look on it
Almost 25 years ago The Pitt became a tour de force, another medical comedy-drama in Scrubs was a fixture on ABC (US), Channel 4 (UK) and other television networks around the world.
Well, it’s time for millennials to shout “Eeeaaaaggle!” ” again and let’s return to Sacred Heart, as the beloved comedy-drama has been resurrected for the streaming era. Hopefully, Scrubs“The 10th season picks up sometime after season 8 and won’t prescribe its incredibly forgettable follow-up as viewing requires…
Anyway, the Scrubs The two-episode premiere of Revival is now available on ABC and Hulu in the US, and on Disney+ everywhere else. Give me some more sass from Dr. Cox and the Janitor, JD and Turk being the best bromance on television, and lots of laughs and heartbreaking moments, and I won’t be calling for Scrubs to be taken off life support again. — Tom Power, senior entertainment reporter
DTF St. Louis (HBO Max)
Look on it
DTF St. Louis is a new HBO Max series that features quite the ensemble. David Harbour, Jason Bateman, Linda Cardellini, Joy Sunday and Richard Jenkins all star in this seven-part dark comedy with a very intriguing plot.
Indeed, it revolves around a complicated love triangle between three adults all suffering from “middle-aged malaise”, which leads one of them to death. This isn’t quite the way any of them expected this whole thing to play out and the resulting downward spiral is inevitable. Who knew a casual hookup app could be so deadly?
New episodes will be released every week, so those are my Friday nights set for the foreseeable future. — kg
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 (Apple TV)
Look on it
Ready for more Titan vs. Titan action in Legendary’s Monsterverse? You’re lucky. Season 2 of the show interquelle Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has debuted on Apple TV – and, judging by its official trailer, there will be less plodding human drama and more big-fight action spectacle this time around.
Set approximately two years after the events of its predecessor, the Apple TV Original’s second outing will see Godzilla, Kong and the series’ human cast unite to take on a new monster – dubbed “Titan X” – that threatens the established order of the natural world. Monarch Season 2 Episode 1 is available now on Apple TV, but before you watch, find out everything you need to know about Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 so you’re all caught up on what’s happening. — TP
Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 8 (Netflix)
Look on it
Start those engines, because it’s time to return to the Formula 1 paddock for eight more episodes of behind-the-scenes action. Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 8 was broadcast on Netflix and revisits the biggest moments of the 2025 Formula 1 world championship.
The title fight went down to the wire between Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, with the trio neck and neck heading into the 24th and final Grand Prix, making it one of the closest finishes in over a decade. No spoilers for those who haven’t heard who won, but what I will say is that Season 8 also highlights the four rookies who debuted, Christian Horner’s Red Bull exit, and many other crucial moments from the season.
As the 2026 championship approaches, the new season perfectly sets the stage for the battles to come. — AS
