At MWC 2026, Lenovo launched a number of new products, including updated laptops and intriguing concepts.
The company also introduced something less flashy but arguably more practical: the ThinkTab X11, a rugged Android tablet designed for frontline work rather than couch surfing.
The device belongs to the Think brand, which until now largely referred to Windows PCs and business laptops. With the ThinkTab X11, Lenovo brings that badge to an Android lineup aimed at logistics, construction, manufacturing, and transportation.

The tablet has been tested to MIL-STD-810H standards and has an IP68 rating. It’s designed to handle dust, water, drops, and the kind of treatment that would quickly put an end to most consumer tablets.
The display is designed for outdoor work, with support for gloved and wet touch typing, which is essential on job sites where bare fingers are not an option.
A convenient feature is a removable screwless battery with a battery-free mode. In fixed or vehicle installations, the device may operate without a battery inserted, which could contribute to long-term wear and safety.
There are two USB-C ports, allowing charging and accessories at the same time. Front-mounted NFC supports data capture for inventory, authentication and access control.
Lenovo also leverages enterprise management and security tools so that IT departments can deploy and manage fleets of devices without much effort.
On stage, Eric Yu, Senior Vice President of SMB and Commercial Product Center, Intelligent Devices Group at Lenovo, said: “As AI moves from experimentation to everyday business reality, organizations need technology that they can trust, scale and endure.
“By combining AI-ready devices with strong repairability, platform choice, and enterprise-grade security and services, we help our customers adopt AI with confidence, control, and long-term value.” »
The ThinkTab X11 is priced from €499. Lenovo has not yet indicated whether it plans to bring it to the United States.
