Meghan Markle’s lifestyle business ‘As Ever’ will now operate independently after splitting from Netflix.

The Duchess of Sussex launched the brand last year with financial backing from the streaming giant, in addition to its separate deal to produce TV content.

Moving from a streaming deal to a standalone brand

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first signed a $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020 to produce films and series.

Netflix data revealed that the first season failed to make the platform’s top 300 shows during the first half of 2025.
