NYT Strands today (game #735) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #735, are…
- CLOCK
- SPRING
- HOUR
- LOSING
- SLEEP
- BEFORE
- SPANGRAM: SUMMER SAVINGS
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
While I appreciate that all of the words in today’s Strands are related to SUMMER ECONOMY, some of them seem a little over the top. HOUR? Well yes, we lose an hour – but in itself, it’s a bit disconnected from the rest of the words. Ditto LOSER. Maybe they’re pairs – like in SPRING FORWARD, LOSING HOUR… but then the other two would be CLOCK SLEEP, which makes no sense.
That aside, it wasn’t too difficult to solve, and it was certainly nicer than the clocks to come actually are: I never look forward to the annual battle to set the oven clock to the correct time…
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Saturday March 7, Match #734)
- GLASS
- CUP
- MUG
- CHALICE
- STEIN
- SNIFTER
