He gave a brief overview of some of the “unique” guitar licks he’s doled out over the course of his career.

“It’s hard to name one – you’re going to embarrass me,” he told PK Press Club Digital. “I will say this, one of the most unique, Fabulous Moolah, a 71 year old woman who came up to me before I hit her and told me if you don’t hit me I’m going to beat you when you come back here. She’s a tough woman. Beetlejuice of Howard Stern fame is still up there. To this day it’s talked about. Gary Coleman.”

Jarrett also revealed that he once went to Japan just to give Hulk Hogan a chance on guitar.

“But is this about professional wrestlers, Sting, Hulk Hogan. I flew to Japan, I can say that in my career, I literally flew to Japan, got off the plane, went to the arena, waited a few hours, waited for the show to end, went to a press conference, knocked Hulk Hogan out with a guitar, took a shower, I made a plan and came home I think he should be up there on top of them too,” he said. said.

Fans of the sport can watch professional wrestling on television or streaming at least six nights a week and sometimes seven with pay-per-view programming airing on Sundays. AEW programming takes up at least two days with “Dynamite” on Wednesday and “Collision” on Saturday.

“Who would have dreamed that professional wrestling would exist, literally, there are weeks where it’s on prime time seven nights a week,” he told PK Press Club Digital. “It’s on ESPN. It’s on HBO Max. When you really dig down, wait a minute, HBO, the house that’s filling the void of the last, you know, 30 years, the highest quality programming made for television. And AEW, who I’m partnered with, ‘Dynamite,’ ‘Collision’ is on HBO Max, ESPN, Netflix, we can go on and on.

“It’s really something, from my perspective, I’m really proud to be a part of the industry because you can watch every form of entertainment, in music…they take a page out of the pro wrestling book all the time on tours. I don’t need to tell you about the sports world, every dance or celebration in football or the championship belts that teams get when they win, we’re integrated into every major professional sport.

“When you look at the episodic nature of our programming, the television industry has always been incredible. They’re like, ‘Wait a minute guys, are you on 52 weeks a year?’ We’re having trouble getting eight or ten episodes or a season of a show and you don’t have a season? So, it’s been a really long time, but as it goes through iterations, professional wrestling is on point. We are no longer a dirty four-letter world. »
