NYT Strands today (game #738) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #738, are…
- ARMOR
- CAMOUFLAGE
- AGILITY
- DISTRACTION
- MIMICRY
- SPANGRAM: DEFENSES
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 2 tips
It was a great game with, ironically, very well hidden and very tricky words.
Despite having the hardest word in the game – CAMOUFLAGE – I needed clues to find the two easiest ones. That said, AGILITY is not the most obvious DEFENSE.
I sometimes wonder what I would do if I were shrunk to the size of a mouse and became prey to my pet cats. Of all the types of survival techniques available in today’s game, I think the one I would try is DISTRACTION: by the time I finish burping the alphabet, they would be too bored, confused, or revolted to bother with me.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Tuesday March 10, Thu #738)

- HI
- TO WELCOME
- GREETINGS
