Senate committee adopts cinema bill

ISLAMABAD:

The Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday unanimously passed the ‘Cinema (Amendment) Bill, 2024’.

The committee met at the Old PIPS Hall, Parliament Lodges, Islamabad at the request of the members.

The members present unanimously appointed Senator Sarmad Ali to chair the debates.

The body unanimously passed the ‘Cinema (Amendment) Bill 2024’, presented by Murtaza Solangi, the then Minister of Information and Broadcasting, after a brief discussion.
