This week’s Players Championship 2026 live streams from TPC Sawgrass, Fla., feature the PGA’s biggest tournament so far this season and arguably golf’s most iconic hole, the watery 17th. Golf’s fifth unofficial major, it will include Rory McIlroy looking to defend his crown, with world number one Scottie Scheffler drawn into a stellar group with Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Thomas.
Elsewhere, many eyes will be on Brooks Koepka, who returns to the Players Championships for the first time since 2022 following his LIV Golf slump. 2015 winner Rickie Fowler started the season in fine form and could be another bolter.
The world’s best players will play in Florida, with the iconic 17th β a par three over water to an island green β one of the most picturesque and famous holes in golf. Definitely not to be missed.

What’s so special about the 17th at TPC Sawgrass?
One of the most picturesque holes in golf, the 17th features the tee, green and a bucket of water in between.
It’s a par three, with the tee shot over a lake (no “fairway” here) to an island green almost entirely surrounded by water.
For professionals, this is not the case technically it’s a tough shot, but they have to stick it on the green and the sound of oohs coming from the gallery as a ball sinks inexorably into the drink is one of the most beautiful sounds in golf.
