Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children are growing up fast and it’s a poignant fact for beloved grandfather King Charles, who is across the Atlantic, awaiting a reunion one day.
The monarch had already opened up to his second son, after almost two years of separation, and the main topic of discussion between father and son had been six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet.
This also raises the question of whether Archie and Lilibet would be willing to meet their grandfather and how would they be received once reunited.
While the ice hasn’t completely melted between the royal family and the Sussexes, Harry is reportedly pinning his hopes for a “great reconciliation” on his two adorable children, according to a new report.
“Harry truly believes that children are the key to making everything right,” a source revealed to Heat. “He’s sure that once his dad and brother get the chance to really meet Archie and Lili and spend time with them, they’ll melt everyone’s hearts and change things overnight.”
The Duke of Sussex, who had made peace offers to the royal family, including his estranged brother Prince William, in recent months, is the proud father of two children. The children are said to bear a striking resemblance to Harry and are “exceptionally adorable”, which would “pull [the King’s] strings of the heart.”
Charles’ second son rushes through his efforts due to his father’s cancer diagnosis and each update on his health raises his fears and makes things more urgent.
“Harry has always been very emotional when it comes to family and the idea of his children growing up without ever knowing their grandfather is something he struggles with a lot,” the source insists.
