Meghan Markle has sparked fresh debate with her latest social media move after lambasting a royal author.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, kept fans guessing with her surprise decision to delete a cryptic post after blasting a royal author for “deranged plotting”.
She shared then deleted a cryptic story on Instagram on Monday as she returned to social media following new allegations in Tom Bower’s upcoming royal book.
Reacting to this decision, some special media users said that she had given up on “kindness” after being pressured by criticism.
The deleted post came after excerpts from Bower’s new book, “Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family,” were serialized by The Times Magazine.
The biographer attempted to examine the years-long divide between the House of Sussex and the House of Windsor.
The book also includes claims about the couple’s public role and the Invictus Games.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes gave a fitting response to the author, saying: “Mr Bower’s comment has long crossed the line between criticism and fixation.”
After deleting the first story, Meghan posted a series of new clips from home, including one showing her arranging flowers in a vase while Harry could be heard off-camera saying: “This is beautiful.”
