Professional wrestler Nikki Blackheart could be the next star to appear on WWE programming in the near future.
Blackheart received an invitation to a WWE tryout last month as she began to gain attention on the independent circuit. A few days after her training ended, BodySlam Plus reported that WWE had signed her to a contract and she would soon be showing up at the WWE Performance Center.

WWE star Bayley led the Lodestone seminar for professional wrestlers, which Blackheart attended. Bayley shared some ideas on what Blackheart could bring to the ring.
“I know she passed the test because I was there. I don’t know how quickly they talk to people or recruit people,” she told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview. “Part of the reason I wanted to take part in this trial was to see how they handle these things nowadays. It’s been about 10 years since I was a part of it. So I was just there to observe. But yeah, I knew she had one.
“So, I think she would obviously fit in really well. But I’m biased, because I invited her to my Lodestone seminar. So, if she shows up, I’ll be happy to show her around.”

Blackheart, originally from the Dominican Republic, only made his professional wrestling debut less than two years ago. She won the championships in Coastal Championship Wrestling and Metroplex Wrestling.
It’s unclear when she will officially train as a WWE competitor, but she reflected on receiving the tryout in February.
“The hardest moment for me. I was officially invited to the @wwe tryouts,” she wrote on her Instagram.
