The high-stakes match between the United States and the Dominican Republic came down to the wire, as Roman Anthony and Gunnar Henderson propelled the team to victory. The game also ended with a controversial three-strike call that appeared to be out of the zone.

Regardless, FOX Sports said the FS1 telecast itself attracted 6,864,000 viewers. It was FS1’s most-watched television show since 2019 and the ninth most-watched of all time. FOX Sports said the game was the most-watched sporting event of the weekend.
