Google unveils new ‘ambience design’ tool to help anyone design a high-fidelity user interface using natural language

  • Stitch’s user interface has been completely redesigned, transforming it into a “mood design” tool
  • Users can interact by typing, or even speaking, to Stitch
  • Google hopes more thinking leads to better products

Rustin Banks, product manager at Google Labs, has lifted the veil on the company’s latest “vibe” tool: Stitch.

Stitch takes what we already know about vibe coding – the name given to generating code with artificial intelligence – and applies it to the whole concept of software design.
