ISLAMABAD:
Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), on Thursday visited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed issues related to the program.
During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid briefed the Prime Minister about the overall performance and current operations of BISP. She also informed him about the progress made in the distribution of the Ramazan relief package to deserving beneficiaries, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister House.
A day earlier, the prime minister ordered that disbursements under the program be made through digital “social protection wallets.”
