I had a hard time seeing the words in today’s game – again taking the theme literally and looking for words related to the seasons rather than the coiled form.
A few clues failed to speed me along, but once I spotted CORKSCREW – which I was sure would be the spangram – I was on my way.
I actually had the words “twist” and “spin” in my list of non-gaming words and didn’t realize they belonged in gaming until SPIRAL and HELIX made it easier to connect.
