Unlike the full Amnezia Premium service, which encrypts all device traffic and allows users to spoof their location across 20 locations worldwide, Amnezia Free uses a highly targeted approach. The free tier uses split tunneling to route only specific, socially important websites and applications through the encrypted tunnel. All other Internet traffic remains on the user’s regular connection, using their real IP address.
