Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest decision backfired ahead of the Australia tour.
For those unfamiliar, a few days ago the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines after Tom Bower’s shocking claims about the Sussexes.
In the upcoming book, the royal author made a number of explosive claims, such as their connections to William and Kate and the Invictus Games.
The comments did not sit well with Harry and Meghan, and their spokesperson issued a fiery statement refuting the claims.
However, a public relations expert, Renae Smith, said it was not a wise decision.
She added: “It was scathing, very detailed and emotionally charged, which is rarely the strongest position when dealing with a book like this.”
Harry and Meghan’s statement contains material “damaging” to their public reputation.
According to ExpressRenae said “silence is louder,” but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to speak out.
