Today’s search celebrates brand names that became so popular that they ended up being the word we all used to describe them.
Many of these products became so ubiquitous that people didn’t even know they were brands – that’s certainly the case for me and DUMPSTER. And of course, once the TRADEMARK runs out, any manufacturer of large metal trash cans can call their product a DUMPSTER.
Seeing the letter Z introduced me to a flyer today and with the theme I immediately guessed what we were looking for; that didn’t stop him from trying to submit SMORE, however.
