PlayStation Portal, PS5 and PS5 Pro will see huge price hikes next month, Sony confirms

• Sony increases the prices of its PlayStation 5 consoles and PS Portal
• PS5 Pro will now cost $899.99, down from $749.99
• PS5 price will increase by $100 and will soon cost $649.99

Sony has announced that it will raise the price of its PlayStation 5 hardware again next month.

In a new PlayStation Blog post, the company cites “continued pressures in the global economic landscape” and has decided to increase the cost of its PS5, PS5 Pro and PlayStation Portal Remote Players globally starting April 2, 2026.
