Britney Spears is currently working to get her life back on track following her recent shocking drunk driving arrest earlier this month.
The singer, 44, abstained from alcohol for more than three weeks and now regularly attends AA meetings in Los Angeles.
According to a source, Britney was very open during these sessions: “Britney was very open and honest during her AA meetings, she said she loved to vent because she knew it was the best way to heal and feel better,” the source shared.
They also added that she’s cautious and focused on the things that matter, saying, “The only thing she indulges in is fancy coffee drinks. She’s very cautious because she wants to be there for her kids.”
Britney is now reportedly spending more time with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, who have been close to her in recent weeks.
Their presence, however, meant a lot to the music icon as she went through this phase.
The Toxic singer’s arrest took place on March 3 and she is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
Britney’s team has already stated that they want to take the right steps and move forward in a better way.
