- New images and videos of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 appear
- It looks like the camera will launch on April 20
- Several upgrades are expected, including longer battery life
We’ve seen a lot of leaks surrounding the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 in recent weeks, and a new batch of unverified images of the vlogging camera have hit the web, along with hints that the device will go on sale on Monday, April 20.
Colombian retailer DroneTech posted photos and videos of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 on its social media (via Notebookcheck), and hinted at this date. While we can’t confirm that the posts actually show the camera, it appears to be the real thing.
Descriptions accompanied by images and video (via Google Translate) mention high-quality video, intelligent stabilization, and a Creator Combo – matching the name of one of the packages we received with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

We hope to see a global launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4: while new DJI products are now banned in the United States, all indications are that this camera received regulatory approval early enough that it can still go on sale.
The improvements we expect are a brighter screen, longer battery life between charges, and a slight design change. Improvements in video quality are also expected, although the details of these improvements are not yet clear.
Thanks to previous leaks, we’ve also seen some of the accessories that will come with the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 – including an LED light that you can install on the camera – and several bundled options will be offered again.
There has also been talk of a Pro version of the device coming with an additional camera, and undoubtedly at a higher price. We haven’t heard any pricing rumors, but the DJI Osmo Pocket initially launched for $519 / £489 / AU$849.
