Taylor Swift and John Mayer’s previous relationship resurfaced after they recently came face to face at a Paul McCartney concert, years after their messy breakup.
The 36-year-old pop superstar and Mayer, 48, were both spotted at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood in photos posted to celebrity gossip accounts on social media.
Although it’s unclear whether the former couple interacted, Saturday’s concert marked their first time attending the same event since their breakup in 2010.
The 14-time Grammy winner was seen talking to Olivia Rodrigo in the photos, and her pal Sabrina Carpenter was also at the event.
Swift and Mayer also used different exits since they left the concert separately.
THE Gravity The hitmaker and Eras Tour performer had a rocky breakup at the time, with Swift coming out Dear John allegedly about their age gap relationship.
After the song’s release and Mayer’s reaction, he explained how it impacted him negatively, saying rolling stone“I’m pretty good at taking responsibility now, and I never did anything to deserve that. That was a really ugly thing of him.”
THE Opalite The hitmaker criticized Mayer’s claims that same year, saying it was “presumptuous” of him to believe she wrote the song about him.
