Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced criticism some online called a “photo op” during their visit to victims of the Los Angeles fires.
But an anonymous friend of the royal couple hit out at the criticism, saying Page six, “It’s offensive to Meghan and Harry that anyone would think this is just a photo opportunity.”
On the other hand, Victor Gordo, mayor of Pasadena, where the two men visited, also said they were “great people” with “great personalities.”
“They really boosted the morale of the first responders. We visited the Rose Bowl command post and people were very happy to see them,” he shared.
In addition to this controversy, Harry and Meghan faced another after an article in Vanity Fair claimed that the latter team had a “conversation” with a publisher about a potential “post-divorce” book.
According to one source, the purported meeting was to see if the publisher would be “theoretically interested” if it happened – despite the divorce rumors being untrue – however, a source close to the couple denied the meeting, the calling it “painful”. “
