NYT Strands today (game #760) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #760, are…
- AGENT
- BETTOR
- JOCKEY
- FORECAST
- BOOKMAKER
- COACH
- SPANGRAM: HORSE RACING
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 2 tips
My initial thoughts on today’s theme were related to music tracks or athletics. Finding nothing either and finding many words that aren’t related to the game, I figured out a clue.
Alas, AGENT didn’t help me at all and, not knowing how to progress, I used a second hint. BETTOR got me thinking about gambling and finally the penny dropped.
As the son of a man who spent every hour of his time studying horse racing guides, perhaps I should have brought this topic up a little more quickly, but I have to say that I find the act of sitting on animals a bit ridiculous. I realize this may be a niche opinion, but to me it feels like something humans should have evolved to no longer need to do.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Wednesday, April 1, Game #759)

- SILENT

- SILENT
