Prince William and Princess Kate give in to public demand after brutal challenge

Prince William and Princess Kate seem to have heard the public opinion and offered an honor to a very special person after winning the hearts of the British public.

Last month, the Prince of Wales surprised BBC Radio presenter Greg James as he embarked on an eight-day journey on a tandem bike to raise money for Red Nose Day. The charity fundraising event had been a brutal challenge that required Greg to cycle 1,000 miles.

Each day, Greg had been joined by a special guest and on the fifth day, the RJ was delighted to see the future king come and join him for the challenge. William rode with Greg as they engaged in playful banter.

It sparked a flood of comments urging the royal family to honor Greg, not only because of the love he has for his show, but also because of the incredible challenge he has taken on for charity, which will change so many lives.

Although Greg has not yet been called to knighthood, Kensington Palace shared a “spring throwback” for the Prince and Princess of Wales, which made the “start of 2026 so special.”

Among the many moments. Greg was included in one of the 19 slides shared on social media.

This delighted the Radio1 Breakfast Show host, who commented: “I’ve had the royal discharge! »

Support has been pouring in from listeners and famous faces since he took on the grueling challenge.

“It was a real struggle at times, but everyone helped me get through it,” he said after completing the final leg of the journey. “The thing I will remember most is seeing everyone’s joy and overcoming pain to get to that joy.”

Greg managed to raise £4,041,910 for Comic Relief, which supports a wide range of charities across the UK, tackling poverty, gender injustice, early years, development and homelessness.
