Eugene Mirman, the comedian best known as the voice of Gene Belcher on Fox’s Bob’s Burgers, was hospitalized with serious injuries after a fiery single-car crash in Bedford, New Hampshire.
Authorities said Mirman’s Lucid Gravity 2026 struck the Bedford Toll Plaza on the FE Everett Turnpike shortly before noon Tuesday.
The vehicle caught fire with Mirman trapped inside, leading to a dramatic rescue.
Among the bystanders were New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte and a state police veteran assigned to her security detail who immediately went to her aid.
They pulled him to safety through the car window.

“Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to help someone who needed it. »
No charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation.
