A court filing shows a subpoena will be issued later this month for Tiger Woods’ prescription drug records following his arrest for drunken driving late last month.

Woods was arrested for driving under the influence after passing field sobriety tests following a two-vehicle crash in which his Range Rover flipped onto the driver’s side.

“Specifically, the State of Florida subpoena will request copies of all prescription medications on Eldrick T. Woods’ file…to include the date and time the prescription was filled, the type of prescription, the number of pills in each prescription, the dose, any special instructions on how to take the medication, the next refill date, any warnings, including but not limited to operating a motor vehicle while picking up the prescription from January 1, 2026 to March 27, 2026 at Lewis Pharmacy,” the court filing states.

Woods blew “triple zeros” with a breathalyzer, but still undergone tests due to his “lethargic” movements and other signs of impairment, authorities said.

Woods told law enforcement before field sobriety tests that he had had seven back surgeries and “over 20 leg surgeries.” He told law enforcement that “I take a few” prescription medications. In 2021, he had an accident that left him with serious leg injuries that kept him from playing golf for the entire year.

He also mentioned that his ankle was fused and he walked with a limp due to the injuries. Due to the nature of his injuries, the authorities forced him to do the exercises sitting down.

Woods participated in four drills before a deputy placed him in handcuffs. The deputy said she believed Woods was under the influence of an “unknown substance.”

This was the second time Woods had been arrested for driving under the influence. He was taken into police custody in 2017.

Woods announced earlier this week that he would “seek treatment,” forgoing a return to the golf course for the time being.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am taking some time off to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary for me to prioritize my well-being and work towards a lasting recovery,” Woods said in a statement posted on social media Tuesday.

“I am committed to taking the time necessary to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and I ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time.”

Woods was granted permission on April 1 to leave the country “to undergo comprehensive treatment for impatience.”

Woods was charged with driving under the influence, property damage, refusal to submit to a test and reckless driving. He pleaded not guilty and waived his indictment, demanding a jury trial.
