Michael J. Fox is not dead!

Michael J. Fox’s rep was forced to shut down a false death rumor after a new media outlet accidentally released a tribute video suggesting the actor’s death.

“Michael is doing great,” his rep said TMZ on April 8. “He was at PaleyFest yesterday. He was on stage doing interviews.”

CNN posted a video titled “Remembering the Life of Actor Michael J. Fox” before quickly removing it.

A network spokesperson confirmed the error, saying TMZ: “The package was posted in error; we have removed it from our platforms and apologize to Michael J. Fox and his family.”

The 64-year-old man had also been very noticed the day before, by attending the Contraction Season three finale screening at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on April 7.

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 and has spoken openly about his ongoing battle with the disease, spoke with PEOPLE in October about his way of living with it.

“You take the good and you grab it,” he said. “I wake up and figure out what the day is going to be like, and try to adjust to it. I continue to face new physical challenges and overcome them. I roll around in a wheelchair a lot, and it took me a while to get used to it.”

He shares four children with his wife Tracy Pollan, 65.
