Ravens star pleads for someone to beat Chiefs: ‘We can’t let them keep getting away with this’

The Kansas City Chiefs are in their seventh straight AFC title game with a chance to become the first team to complete a three-peat.

Since Patrick Mahomes became a full-time starter, the Chiefs have led the league, winning three titles during that span.

Well, that bothered a lot of people.

Hatred of Chiefs has certainly become a problem for fans, but it now extends to players as well.

The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to win a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship when they traveled to Buffalo on Sunday night (the Chiefs had beaten the Houston Texans earlier in the weekend ).

The Chiefs beat Baltimore last year and sure, the Ravens wanted revenge, but they fell to the Bills, 27-25.

Although he’s home this coming weekend, Ravens star Marlon Humphrey will be emotionally invested in Sunday’s Bills-Chiefs game.

BILLS FANS START GOFUNDME TO DONATE TO MARK ANDREWS’ CHARITY AFTER CRUCIAL FALL

“I have no reason to say this other than being a hater. The Bills or any team in the NFC needs to beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them continue to get away with this,” posted Humphrey on X Tuesday.

Much of the hate comes from fans feeling like the referees are favoring the Chiefs, something Mahomes addressed earlier this week.

“I kind of learned that no matter what happens in the game, something is going to come out of it if you win, and you keep winning. So I don’t really pay attention to it,” Mahomes said.

“I mean, obviously, I’ve been on both sides as far as how I felt about the calls, but, at the end of the day, man, these guys do their best to make the best calls and keep that’s where the players play in the game. And that’s what decides the outcome and obviously, there was a call here or there that people didn’t agree with, but,. at the same time, I think there were many others. actions that really decided the outcome of this football match.
