Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have recently been at the center of speculation sparked by the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in February.
Although there were rumors of tension between the couple, the situation escalated when Edo was notably seen going on lavish business trips. Although travel is not unusual for a luxury real estate developer like him, the timing was bad.
He seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself at a time when his wife was going through emotional turmoil following her father’s arrest. Reports began to flood in as sources suggested there was a “distance” between the couple and that Edo was “struggling” to cope with Beatrice’s breakdowns.
Although he denied Edo’s marital woes, Daily mail, his father Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, a 74-year-old British-Italian former alpine skier, made a strange statement on the matter.
“I have a lot of opinions, but I’m not going to talk about them,” he told the Daily Mailadding: “It’s none of my business, you should go talk to my son about it.”
However, it seems Edo is choosing to remain unfazed and focus on his business rather than family gossip.
Edo, who founded the Banda property, shared an announcement about a major project that would start in Milan.
Images of the Duomo di Milano have been shared along with glimpses of the major construction works underway. It was simply captioned: “Milan – Coming… VERY soon.”
Meanwhile, Beatrice is said to be keeping a low profile as she looks after her two young daughters. Additionally, despite missing the Easter service with the royal family, Beatrice and her sister Eugenie are expected to come to Royal Ascot.
