After his second drunk driving arrest in less than a decade, it’s obvious Tiger Woods is looking in the mirror.
The 15-time major winner was arrested on March 27 after crashing his car in which his Range Rover flipped onto the driver’s side.
Woods returned all zeros on his breathalyzer test, but underwent field sobriety tests after becoming “lethargic.” He was eventually handcuffed and is now believed to be in Switzerland seeking treatment.

People magazine said Woods, 50, was “ashamed” over his latest drama, citing a source.
“Tiger can get defensive at times, but he was embarrassed and ashamed during the last accident. He wants to work through his problems,” the source told People. “No one is more interested in seeing Tiger come out on top again than Tiger. He doesn’t handle losing and embarrassing public situations well.”
A court filing shows a subpoena will be issued later this month for Woods’ prescription drug records from Jan. 1 until his arrest.
Woods told law enforcement before field sobriety tests that he had had seven back surgeries and “over 20 leg surgeries.” He told law enforcement that “I take a few” prescription medications. In 2021, he had an accident that left him with serious leg injuries that kept him from playing golf for the entire year.

He also mentioned that his ankle was fused and he walked with a limp due to the injuries. Due to the nature of his injuries, the authorities forced him to do the exercises seated.
Woods announced days after his arrest that he would “seek treatment” and was allowed to leave the country to do so.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am taking some time off to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary for me to prioritize my well-being and work towards a lasting recovery,” Woods said in a statement posted on social media.

“I am committed to taking the time necessary to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and I ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time.”
