- The Ecovacs Deebot X12 OmniCyclone tackles particularly stubborn stains
- It identifies dried dirt and pretreats it using high-pressure water jets
- Once the dirt is softened, the OmniCyclone’s extra-long mop removes it
Ecovacs, maker of some of the best robot vacuums we’ve tested here at TechRadar, has just launched a new flagship model designed to tackle particularly stubborn dried-on stains that most robot vacuums wouldn’t be able to clean.
The Ecovacs Deebot He pre-treats them with high-pressure water jets to soften them, then uses his roller mop to scrub them.
The extra-long mop is rinsed with fresh water throughout cleaning to avoid spreading dirt or creating streaks. It won’t make your carpets damp either; When you leave hard ground, the OmniCyclone automatically lifts and covers its mop head to keep everything dry.

The OmniCyclone cleans particularly close to baseboards, while remaining a safe distance from obstacles like pets, charging cables and furniture.
Once cleaning is complete, the OmniCyclone dock will take care of the messy tasks, including washing and drying the mop, emptying debris, and automatically managing the cleaning solution. It also has a fast charging system called PowerBoost, which means it’s ready to start cleaning again faster than other wet and dry robovacs.
The OmniCyclone is on sale now for $1,499 (around £1,100 / AU$2,100) direct from Ecovacs and Amazon. We’ll be testing it soon to see how it compares to competitors like Roborock and Dreame, so stick with TechRadar to find out if the OmniCyclone can fight its way into the top spot.
