Insomniac Games has apparently begun development of Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.
While there’s no confirmation from the studio itself, Peter Parker’s model Ben Jordan shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram today showing him posing with motion capture equipment (via @WeBeenCroft).
The post, which was quickly deleted after it was posted, showed Jordan standing on a set with his hands in Spider-Man’s web-shooting pose, with the caption “IYKYK.” [If you know, you know]” accompanied by a spider emoji.

Capturing a model’s face for a character is usually done early in development, before motion capture and scenes are filmed. Spider-Man 3 is in the early stages of production.

Peter Parker’s original model, John Bubniak, was replaced by Ben Jordan for the PS5 edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remasteredbut the character is voiced by actor Yuri Lowenthal.
Insomniac has not announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 3but we can probably bet on a third opus in the series, considering Spider-Man 2The cliffhanger and the success of the game with critics and players.
Currently, the studio is working on Marvel’s Wolverinescheduled to launch on September 15 on PlayStation 5.
Unlike the Spiderman games, where the stories of Peter Parker and Miles Morales are contained in the city of New York, WolverineThe trailer confirmed that Wolverine, aka James “Logan” Howlett, will be traveling to Japan, Madripoor, and Canada.
Insomniac also confirmed that the game takes place in the same universe as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
