Zendaya made a spectacular entrance at the Los Angeles premiere Euphoria season three.
She arrived an hour after the scheduled start time. Daily Mail described as a “power move” to avoid tension with co-star Sydney Sweeney.
While the rest of the cast was seated for the 7 p.m. screening, Zendaya apparently didn’t arrive until 8 p.m.
The actress didn’t take group photos and was seen greeting close friend Hunter Schafer and director Sam Levinson before being ushered inside by her crew.
Rumors of friction between Zendaya and Sweeney have been circulating for months, with sources saying the two avoid each other “on and off set.”
The first red carpet fueled speculation, as the two were not photographed together.
Commentators Richard Osman and Marina Hyde discussed the event on The rest is entertainment podcast.
Hyde joked that the atmosphere was like a Parisian fashion show, where “Rihanna would arrive two hours late and then the show could start.”
Sweeney, who attended with boyfriend Scooter Braun, posed with other cast members, including Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow and Schafer.
Fans were quick to notice the lack of joint plans with Zendaya, reinforcing the feud rumors.
Despite speculation, Zendaya has been busy with other projects, including The drama And Dune: Part Three.
