The service outage began early in the morning as users reported more and more problems.

As of 8:02 a.m. PT, more than 7,000 users had reported issues.

In 25 minutes, outage reports doubled, surpassing 15,000 affected users.

46% of users cited the issue in Claude’s code, while 24% cited the issues in Claude’s chat. On the other hand, 18% reported a problem with the mobile application.

Users report that login failures and website accessibility issues are also prevalent.

Anthropic’s status page revealed that the organization had confirmed that it was “investigating the issue.” However, at 8:08 a.m. PT, the status changed to “a hotfix is ​​being deployed.”

As of 8:25 a.m. PT, Anthropic said “the Claude API is now fully recovered as of 8:01 a.m. PT/4:01 p.m. UTC.”

In the official statement, Claude acknowledged the issue, writing: “We are currently working to mitigate ongoing errors for Claude AI. Claude Code users who are logged in can still use it, but the connection is still interrupted.”
