However, Harry’s sudden gesture at an event spotlighting his wife Meghan Markle raised eyebrows among fans.
It came as the Duchess attended a 90-minute address at Sydney’s InterContinental Hotel near Coogee Beach.
Attendees revealed how the Duke of Sussex looked a little weird at the event.
According to THE TimesHarry made a brief appearance at the event, sitting with Marcus Anderson, director of a chain of clubs and close friend of the couple.
The Duke’s abrupt departure from the event, however, left guests perplexed.
A guest told the outlet: “It was the most unusual thing. People were taking pictures of Meghan on stage and Harry just kind of rushed out. Very quickly.
They continued: “He didn’t wait for her to get off the stage, he didn’t pick her up from the stage. It was really strange.”
The guest added to one outlet, “I sat there, and everyone kept saying how handsome he was and how wonderful he was, but he almost ran away.”
They later explained the moment as being “pretty weird.”
Undoubtedly, the Duke’s hasty exit stood in stark contrast to the attention paid to former Hollywood star and Harry’s sweetheart Meghan throughout the evening.
The Sydney event perfectly illustrates how the Sussexes have turned their royal status into a business venture since bidding farewell to royal life in 2020 in search of financial freedom.
