NYT Strands today (game #783) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #783, are…
- CORNER
- DISCOUNT
- GROCERY STORE
- CONVENIENCE
- ALCOHOL
- SPANGRAM: STORE SHOWCASE
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
A tribute of sorts to many, but I don’t mean all, kinds of stores.
I spent a good part of my formative years living above my parents’ shop, which was a bit of all the ones described here as it sold fruit and vegetables, cigarettes, newspapers, confectionery, stationery and bread as well as the odd random item like sports shoes – of which they sold virtually none for 20 years, but to which they always devoted shelf space.
Anyway, I digress as none of this is relevant to today’s search, which was a rudimentary affair – although I did enjoy finding the word CORNER in the corner.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday April 24, Thu #782)
- SHOUT
- CRY
- MEOW
- BELOW
- BRAIL
- CLAMOR
- SPANGRAM: LETSGETLOUD
