One Direction’s stars seem to be aligning – and even Niall Horan feels it.
During a video chat with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Horan called it “wild” to see former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik releasing music and touring at the same time, even if they’re doing it solo. He even took time out to promote his upcoming album. Dinner to find Tomlinson live in Paris on April 21.
“It’s crazy that we’re all coming at the same time. I literally went to see Louis in Paris a few nights ago. That show was really cool too. We’re all going at the same time. It’s pretty wild,” Horan said.
And he’s not wrong. Horan prepares for Dinneris set to release on June 5, while Malik released Konnakol just last week. Styles, for his part, started the year with Kiss all the time. Disco, occasionallyreleased in March.
As for Tomlinson, Horan said he has noticed a positive change in his longtime friend, who is finding joy in making music again.
“He really looks like he’s having a lot of fun up there. I [been] speaking to him. He’s a bit in a similar situation to me, it’s a bit like this freedom to know where you are musically…”
He added, “So it’s pretty cool to see him get up there and enjoy it and he sings really well and he sounds, yeah, the whole band sounds great. The show looks cool. So good for him.”
