- Belkin has transformed Toy Story 5Lilypad in an iPad case for 10th and 11th generation models
- Cinematic scale accessory includes EVA foam protection, kickstand and carrying handle
- It’s available now at Walmart, ahead of the film’s theatrical release in June
We’ve already seen some strong ones Toy Story 5 tie-ins – from Mattel’s awesome new Woody and Buzz Lightyear figures to a real-world Lilypad “tablet” from LeapFrog – and now Belkin is entering the mix with what appears to be the most practical version yet.
This isn’t a real Lilypad, but a case inspired by the characters in scale from the movie that wraps around a 10th or 11th generation iPad. In other words, it turns Apple’s most affordable tablet – and arguably the best iPad for most people – into one of Apple’s standout new characters. Toy Story 5.
Belkin is teaming up with Disney, Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Consumer Products to bring the upcoming film’s frog-shaped smart tablet character to life in the form of a character-themed protective case rather than a toy or standalone device.

For the price, you get a bright green EVA foam case that’s built to last, with shock-absorbing protection against everyday drops and bumps. It is clearly aimed at young users (or nostalgic adults), using non-toxic, easy-to-clean materials designed for regular handling.
Importantly, it doesn’t compromise functionality. All of the iPad’s key controls remain fully accessible, including the power button, volume up and down, USB-C charging port, and rear cameras, meaning the iPad works exactly as it normally would, just in a much more playful shell.
Belkin also includes a two-year warranty, adding an extra layer of reassurance for what is likely to be a well-used (and occasionally dropped) device accessory.
From a design point of view, it fully integrates with the character. Lilypad’s iconic eyes sit at the top, alongside a centered carry handle for portability. On the back, a flip-up kickstand holds iPad in landscape mode for watching, drawing, or gaming, while frog-shaped hands wrap around the sides and a soft-touch finish enhances grip.
Comparison with others Toy Story 5 these connections highlight how different Belkin’s approach is.
Mattel’s Lilypad falls firmly into toy territory: a smaller figure with a compact screen and light interactivity designed for playing with other figures. LeapFrog’s version goes completely the other way and is a dedicated learning tablet for kids built around the character.
Belkin falls in between, but comes closest to real-world use. Rather than creating a new device or reducing the character to a toy, it’s simply a matter of revamping an existing iPad, keeping all the features intact while adding the character design on top.
This distinction is important because it is a cinematic-scale interpretation of Lilypad, designed to allow fans to take home what could become one of the film’s signature characters in a functional, everyday form rather than a display piece.
It also hints at something larger. With Belkin already working closely with Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, this seems less like a one-off crossover and more like a template for future character-driven tech accessories – potentially in other franchises if the concept proves popular.
If you’re already sold and own a 10th or 11th generation iPad, you can get the Belkin Lilypad iPad Case from Walmart for $49.99. It will launch on Belkin’s online store and Amazon, among other retailers, on June 1, 2026.
