Lady Gaga and Doechii release song “Runway” for “The Devil Wears Prada 2”

Lady Gaga and Doechii unveiled the music video for their new collaboration Track, an explosion of haute couture directed by Parris Goebel which serves as the official song to The devil wears Prada 2.

The track plays in the film for a moment backstage at Milan Fashion Week as the models prepare to continue, and the video fully matches that energy.

The two artists perform a series of striking looks against a backdrop of backup dancers before it all culminates exactly as the title promises: Gaga and Doechii strutting down a catwalk together.

The song has already made a big impression on streaming platforms, debuting at number 32 on the global Spotify chart with nearly three million unfiltered streams, and landing at number 25 on the US Spotify chart with over 727,000 streams in its first day.

Gaga got candid about her collaborator in an interview with British Vogue.

“You don’t often see someone come out with a pen that immediately seems legendary. That’s Doechii for me. I fell in love with his music and his raw, deeply personal perspective,” she said.

“The power of her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of boldness and emotional precision, it struck me deeply.”

The couple’s connection predates the collaboration. Last year, Doechii presented Gaga with the Innovation Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Track was co-produced by Andrew Watt alongside Bruno Mars, Cirkut and Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II, with writing credits shared by the same team plus Jayda Love.

Gaga also makes an appearance in the film itself and recently completed her Mayhem Ball tour.

THE The devil wears Prada 2which follows Miranda Priestly navigating the decline of print media while facing off against Emily Blunt’s now-powerful former assistant, opens May 1.
